How to get started

Upload the image to edit
Use a source image you have permission to edit. Start from the best available original: clean edges, visible features and adequate resolution give the editor more useful information than a small, heavily compressed screenshot.

Ask for a specific change
Name the object or area you want changed, describe the desired result, and state what should remain. For example, ask to replace a busy background with a warm gray studio backdrop while preserving the person, clothes and framing.

Compare before continuing
Review the edited result against the original. Look at identity, shadows, fine edges and text. If the result changes too much, simplify the request or make one edit at a time. Keep the version that fits your brief and download it.
Edit an existing image or generate a new one?
Use editing when the starting picture already has something you want to retain: a pose, product, composition or setting. Use image generation when you need a fresh concept. AI edits can change details outside the requested area, so compare the whole image rather than checking only the part you asked to alter.
Separate the change from the preservation request
A useful editing instruction has two parts. First, state the change, such as replace the wall with pale plaster. Then list the essentials to preserve, such as the face, clothing, camera angle and light direction. Conflicting instructions make the intended outcome harder to follow.
Build a sequence of small edits
When a photograph needs several changes, handle the background, object details and composition as separate decisions. This makes it easier to identify which step introduced an unwanted change. Save useful intermediate versions so a later experiment does not replace your preferred result.
Background editing prompt to adapt
Replace the background with a softly lit warm gray studio wall. Preserve the person’s face, expression, hairstyle, clothing and pose. Keep the original framing and match the new background lighting to the subject.
Inspect facial details, hair edges and the contact shadow after editing. A preservation request cannot guarantee that every source pixel stays identical.

Can I edit a photo I took myself?
Yes. Upload your photo to the image editor and describe the change. Only upload images you have permission to use.
Will everything outside my requested edit remain identical?
Not necessarily. Generative editing can alter other details. Compare the result with the original, especially faces, text, logos and product features.
Can I animate the edited image?
Yes. Use the edited image as a starting image in the video studio with a model that supports image-to-video.
